MANILA, Philippines – The number of A(H1N1) flu cases has jumped to 428 with 36 new patients found on Saturday, according to the Department of Health.

The development was reported by Mariz Umali in a GMA Flash Report.

The 36 new patients were hit by a mild strain of the virus, the DOH said.

In Cainta, Rizal, the Karangalan Elementary School also suspended its classes for 10 days after learning that two of its students were stricken by the disease.
