Experts open review of WHO response to swine flu | Reuters

A year ago, the H1N1 scare was at its height. it was also the time my wife was carrying our 4th baby. That put her in the 'critical' list. Thank God we were able to pass that hurdle!

But not many. In fact, the whole world was in a total scare of the then swine flu, which was officially named the H1N1 virus. And now, after realizing that the WHO did not do a very good job of managing the epidemic, they would now be doing a post-mortem analysis, to be able to know what worked and what didn't, and what else should be done - to be better prepared and not be thrown into panic themselves.
