SINGAPORE: Some businesses are not letting up on their precautionary measures even as Singapore lowered its disease alert level to yellow on Monday.
Some hotels and entertainment outlets continue to conduct health checks
One hotel said it’ll continue with regular temperature checks as hotels have the greatest exposure to foreign visitors after the airport.
It would also send staff to a doctor should they run a fever.
At the Singapore Flyer, staff will no longer be wearing masks but the observation wheel will maintain many procedures introduced during the orange alert.
These include wearing gloves and providing disinfectant for staff and customers.
Staff temperature checks will also continue.
Hotels and entertainment outlets said such measures are in place to reassure the public. — CNA/vm
