I was discussing the other day with a colleague about internet marketing, and he did know some folks who have ventured into this arena. Got me a bit engaged, and he mentioned 2 examples:
1. A guy who started at 16yrs of age (that was 10yrs+ ago now) just creating some softwares in the internet, and was giving them away, then he created a "real game" one day, which he marketed. That is how he became a millionaire, so he said.
2. A lady who had a health problem, and was hopeless, and was puzzled with her doctor, who, despite not being able to assess and identify her problem, still prescribed some medicines for her to take. So she asked, 'how in the world can that happen, not knowing my health problem, but can prescribe some medicine for its cure?' I'd say I'd ask the same question myself if I were in her shoes. That triggered her determination to look into her problem on her own, grabbed books, materials, and all she can lay her hands on, and after going through a lot of materials, finally identified her illness.
She also found out that the cause of her illness is due to malnourishment from eating the wrong foods.
Having done that, she went on to look for cures, and she found the initial answer from fruits and vegetables. She extracted the juice, mixed and matched, experimented with them by taking them, and she saw some improvement after about 6 months. She pursued the matter, until finally, having succeeded, she felt she needed to share her discoveries.
She did, and by creating her own website, she is not only able to impart her findings and helping people - she is also earning some money in the process.
